مهدیه در مقطع دبيرستان تحصیل می کند . او تک فرزند میباشد و پدرش بر اثر ضربه وارده به سر در دوران کودکی دچار بیماری اعصاب و روان است و روز به روز بدتر میشود. آنها در منزل پدربزرگ زندگی می کنند و پدر بزرگ با گرفتن وام مغازه کوچک خواروبار در جلوی منزل ساخته و در اختیار پسرش قرار داده تا او سرگرم باشد و مشکلات اعصابش به مهدیه و مادر صدمه ای نزند. مادر مشکل جدی چشم دارد اما به دلیل نداشتن قدرت مالی نتوانسته به دکتر مراجعه کند. این خانواده به شدت نیازمند حمایت مالی جهت ادامه تحصیل مهدیه هستند.
